Firefox 4 Plans: Faster, Friendlier, More Secure
Almost one year ago we got a glimpse of the next major iteration of Firefox, or at least its gorgeous new visuals.
More recently, Mozilla’s Mike Beltzner shared a presentation that reveals quite detailed plans for Firefox (Firefox) 4. HTML5 and CSS support are among the new features, as well as faster operation, a greater focus on security and stability, new developer tools and a lot of personalization options. From the screenshots embedded in the presentation, we can see that the visuals from one year ago haven’t changed much, although most menu items (like the home button, for example) are positioned differently.
The plans, in the link below, sound fantastic, but Mozilla warns once again that they could change before Firefox 4 is finalized.

Why oh, why do they have to change on where the buttons are or how they look? I have had enough problems in getting people (like parents) to shift from the mother of all black holes in terms of computer security (yes, IE) over to a better browser, but each new version only brings more clutter to the browser.
